Kayaking in Andaman Islands (Best Places and Price)
Kayaking in the Andaman Islands is a pretty famous activity and many people have gained an interest in this activity. The activity is currently done in Havelock Island, however, we are expecting within a year this activity could be available in Port Blair as well. Kayaking in the Andaman Islands is done around the mangroves. A guide accompanies you during your Kayaking trip. Before even the trip begins, you are given short training so that you can get acquainted with how to paddle and how to maneuver a Kayak. Post this we begin our Kayak trip via a sea route that leads us to the mangrove point.
During your Kayaking trip in the Andaman make sure you are wearing a life jacket. Safety is of prime importance before we begin any trip. All during the journey, a guide is there with you to make sure you are comfortable during the trip and to take care of any needs that arise. Carry some refreshments during the Kayaking trip so that you don’t get exhausted. Children can also indulge in this activity and can sit at the back with the rider. Age and the build will be a factor before even we start to kayak with any children onboard. Make sure you update Andaman Special Holidays team if you wish to do Kayaking with your kids.
Important Note – Night Kayaking at Havelock Island will start at 3:30 AM. Bioluminescence can be seen, however, since its a natural phenomenon there is no guarantee for the same.

A helmet with a transparent visor is placed on your head. A special apparatus allows normal breathing under the water. Life Guards assist in taking you underwater and accompany you throughout the walk to guarantee your maximum safety. Once there you will experience the undersea world from close and will enjoy walking on the ocean floor which feels like walking on the moon.
The first Sea Walk was set up at North Bay Island, we would say “We did quite a research to find this spot”, a natural aquarium with varied types of fishes along with an amazing sea bed. The coral reef selected is the best you can find at North Bay Island. A stationed paltoon(anchored boat) at North Bay gives a perfect experience to first timers. Trained staff makes everything possible, netted boundaries along the paltoon makes your experience amazing, safe and comfortable. Trained divers are always around to guide you inside the water.
The second Sea Walk has been launched at Elephant Beach in Havelock Island, the reef here starts early and your ride here is fun and exciting. You will be taken on a boat to the start point of the site. You are then instructed how to walk on the sea bed and various signs are taught for easy communication inside water. Trained staff accompanies you during your walk.
Going for the underwater Sea Walk is like going for an underwater tour inside the reef, walking between corals, seeing variety of fish, and discovering the rich sea life underwater in the crystal clear blue water of the lagoon.
Anyone from age between 10 and 50 can go on to sea walk without any difficulties. Our trained and certified guides are always in the water beside you to ensure you safe adventure.
Underwater sea walk is restricted under the following medical conditions: Asthma, Heart Patient and pregnancy. In case of doubt, you may consult your doctor.
